The 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport – Roomy and spacious for all
When you need room for the kids and all of their sporting equipment, the dogs or a load of groceries, the Santa Fe Sport offers a spacious interior.
Inside
Hyundai understands that everyone needs legroom and headroom regardless of whether they are sitting in the front or the back, and with this smaller crossover SUV, you get it all. The front passenger seat now has an available power height adjustment control, so that everyone can find the perfect height.
Standard heated seats keep you warm in the winter, and available ventilated seats help to keep you cooler in the summer. There are optional heated rear seats, as well. The Santa Fe Sport seats five with an available sliding second row for bringing a baby seat closer to the front if needed. So if you need more room, the mid-sized crossover Santa Fe is a great choice because it can easily accommodate seven across its three rows of seats.
As far as cargo room is concerned, the Santa Fe opens up a large cargo area thanks to its versatile seating configurations. You can recline the rear seats for passenger comfort, but you can also fold them flat in order to allow room for flat cargo. The seats can be split in a 40/20/40 combination, which lets you carry two passengers and slide hockey sticks up the centre. As if that wasn’t enough, Hyundai tucked another 51 litres of storage capacity under the floor, so you can keep things like laptops and other valuables completely out of sight.
The Santa Fe Sport offers 2,025 litres of cargo volume, and that makes it the perfect hauler for kids and sporting equipment and most anything else you need to move.
An available proximity key activated, hands-free power liftgate makes it especially easy to get bulky items in and out.
What’s New?
In addition to offering the front passenger the ability to raise or lower the front seat, Hyundai updated the exterior looks of the front and the rear of the vehicle. There are daytime running lights and a new grille. The rear styling has had a slight makeover to fall in line with the front updates.
The lighting technology has been updated to include an available HID headlight system that has Adaptive Cornering. That means that you can see around the corner before you even turn. There is a camera monitored High Beam Assist that can turn your high beams off and on based on the traffic situation.
Hyundai added an optional Android Auto to the multimedia system when you choose the model with the 7-inch touchscreen.
Accolades
The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) gave the 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport a Top Safety Pick+ award when equipped with available autonomous emergency braking that uses a front camera and radar to detect anything that may be rapidly approaching the front of your vehicle. In such a scenario, the system can offer full braking capabilities if the driver does not.
This is just one of the innovative safety features of the Santa Fe Sport. Also included are additional safety features such as lane departure warning systems, blind spot detectors, adaptive cruise control and rear cross traffic alerts.
The 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport comes in your choice of a 2.4L GDI engine or a 2.0L turbocharged GDI. Either way, there are a number of optional feature packages to choose from that will add every convenience you can think of.
Come by and see us today, and we’ll show you all of the options. A new 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport will make taking the kids to hockey practice fun for both of you.
