At the core of Accent's latest developments is the Hyundai SUPERSTRUCTURE™. Composed of 54.5% Advanced High Strength Steel created at the Hyundai Steel plant, the Accent’s SUPERSTRUCTURE™ chassis has increased torsional rigidity by 32% and improved noise isolation, drive feel, and fuel consumption.
Safety improvements for the 2018 Accent include a standard six airbag system, along with Electronic Stability Control, Vehicle Stability Management, Traction Control, and Autonomous Emergency Braking.
The 2018 Accent 4-door sedan will arrive in Canada in late 2017, followed by the All-New Accent 5-door in early 2018.
