Hyundai Auto Canada keeps knocking it out of the park, extending its winning streak to 13 consecutive best-ever months with record-breaking October retail sales — and Genesis Canada achieves its eighth straight monthly record

Markham, ON. (November 1, 2025) – Hyundai Auto Canada (HAC) continued its record-breaking momentum in October, delivering 12,361 units in total sales, an impressive performance that underscores the brand’s growth trajectory, making it 13 months of record-breaking sales. Genesis Canada also set a new benchmark, posting its strongest October ever with 759 units sold, up 14.8% year-over-year, marking eight consecutive months of record-breaking results for the luxury brand.

Building on its strong September performance, both Tucson ICE and HEV posted year-over-year gains. October sales saw 4,044 units sold, putting the Tucson in the driver’s seat as Hyundai’s top-selling vehicle in Canada. The Kona, the Venue and the Palisade, which launched its highly anticipated Hybrid NHL Edition last month, all delivered solid results, with sales climbing up 24%, 18% and 14% respectively.

Hyundai’s electric lineup remains a critical part of the lineup with 1,213 units sold. Leading the charge is the Kona Electric with 392 units sold, followed by the IONIQ 6 with 318 units sold in October. Meanwhile, the all-new IONIQ 9 is entering it’s sixth month on the market and continues to gain traction, reaching 1,015 retailed units so far.

Genesis Canada continues its record-breaking momentum in 2025, racing ahead to its eighth consecutive best month. Last month, Genesis Canada retailed 759 units, establishing a new all-time October sales record, a robust 14.8% year-over-year increase in sales.

Genesis is driving in the fast lane of luxury SUVs, with GV70 and GV80 leading the charge posting sales gains of 30% and 11%, respectively. Bold design, advanced technology, range in powertrain options and an exceptional guest experience is proving to make all the difference.
