(July 24, 2025) – Following its global reveal in November, Hyundai Auto Canada is pleased to confirm Canadian packaging for the 2026 Hyundai Elantra N TCR Edition, a street-legal embodiment of Hyundai Motorsport’s championship-winning pedigree. Inspired by Hyundai’s dominant force in the Touring Car Racing (TCR) World Tour, the Elantra N TCR brings track-bred performance and design to Canada, offering an unparalleled driving experience and road presence for N-thusiasts.

The 2026 Elantra N TCR Edition is engineered for those who demand the utmost in performance and take pride in unique modifications. At its heart lies the stock Elantra N’s potent 2.0L turbocharged engine, delivering an exhilarating 276 horsepower and 289 lb-ft of torque, with up to 286 horsepower with N Grin Shift (NGS) on DCT models. The drivetrain presents a significant choice for enthusiasts, offering either a lightning-fast, N 8-speed Wet Dual-Clutch Transmission (N-DCT) or Hyundai’s engaging, 6-speed manual transmission with downshift rev-matching.

The Elantra N TCR Edition will also include several track-inspired technologies already available with the existing Elantra N, such as a drive mode selection with N/Custom modes, an electronic limited slip differential and an electronically controlled suspension for better cornering.

10^th Anniversary Celebration in Canada

To celebrate the launch of the Elantra N TCR Edition and mark the 10^th anniversary of Hyundai’s global N Brand, Hyundai Canada will be hosting a special event in August at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, in Ontario. The event will unite 10 passionate N owners from the 10 Canadian provinces, reflecting the strength and diversity of Canada’s vibrant N community. Members of the media will also be invited to join the festivities, experiencing first-hand the energetic spirit of N and the adrenaline of the Elantra N TCR Edition.
