Hyundai Top Automaker in Brand Keys’ Loyalty Leaders List

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Oct. 7, 2022 – Hyundai Motor America is again the top ranked automaker in Brand Keys’ Customer Loyalty Leaders list. Hyundai is also in the top 20 among all brands and has finished inside the top 20 every year since 2017, based on the Brand Keys Brand Loyalty Leaders survey. Hyundai is the only automotive company awarded a spot in the Top-20 in 2022.

“Customer loyalty is one of Hyundai’s most important cornerstones,” said Angela Zepeda, Chief Marketing Officer, Hyundai Motor America. “It is an honor to be the only automotive company recognized within the top 20. Maintaining brand loyalty is difficult, and Hyundai is dedicated to empowering our customers during every stage of their journey.”

“The 2022 Loyalty Leaders List demonstrates that brands with high levels of loyalty can emerge from pandemic flashpoints and economic rollercoasters stronger than before”, said Robert Passikoff, founder and president, Brand Keys. “Brands that make loyalty, engagement and consumer expectations a priority not only appear high on the Loyalty Leaders List; more importantly, they show up high on consumers’ shopping lists.”

The 2022 Brand Keys Loyalty Leaders analysis was conducted in August 2022 and assessed 68,125 consumers ranging from the ages of 16–65. Survey respondents self-selected the categories and brands they engage with. The survey is 100 percent consumer-driven and measures both emotional and rational aspects behind each consumer’s decision-making.
